The Spaniards are no match for the Germans

It's been 77 years since the German involvement in the Spanish Civil way. When everything in Spain seemed to be dictated by the actions and inactions of the Germans. When headlines in Spanish tabloids are about events in Germany. That was way back in the 1930s. The headlines in Spain these last few days have been about events in Germany and how Spain will/should react. only that this time it was in a different kinda war.

Champion's league football have provided some of the great football the world have ever seen. But fate saw the two biggest clubs in Spain facing the two biggest teams in Germany in the semi finals of these years competition. against Bayern Munich and Real Madrid against Borussia Dortmund. Both teams went into this tie as clear favorites. But they came out as second best. thanks to a spirited performance and tactical discipline of the germans. We've seen flair and confidence of the Spaniards against the tenacity and discipline of the Germans. I believe that nothing short of an all German finals will be a turn off for me. But this is the game of football. You never say never
